People & Operations Manager
About Heights
Heights is a fast-growing wellness brand on a mission to help people reach their heights — to enjoy better todays and more tomorrows. We create science-backed supplements for the brain and body, helping thousands of customers feel clearer, sharper, and healthier every day.
We’re obsessed with outcomes, not fluff — doing the work that actually moves the needle. We keep things simple and honest (no fluff, no fads, no BS), and we hold ourselves and each other to high standards as we build a world-class company that helps people feel their best.
We’re a passionate, friendly team that builds culture through action. If you’re energised by creating structure that helps people do their best work and thrive in a high-performance, values-driven environment, you’ll feel right at home here.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive People & Operations Manager to lead our people and office operations. You’ll build structure, drive culture, and help us reach new heights through operational excellence and values-led performance.
You’ll balance precision and empathy — making sure the everyday details (from payroll to office logistics) run smoothly, while championing initiatives that help our team do their best work and feel deeply connected to Heights’ mission.
At Heights, no two days look the same — and that’s exactly how we like it. This is a startup environment, where everyone rolls up their sleeves and pitches in to make sure the team runs smoothly. We’re looking for someone who’s energised by variety, unphased by changing priorities, and excited to have a real impact — whether that’s fine-tuning our people processes, jumping in to solve an operational snag, or helping us create moments that bring the team together.
It’s a hands-on, mid-level role for someone who’s organised, people-savvy, and ready to raise the bar in how we support our team and refine our culture.
What You'll Do
Drive excellence & ownership
Own the operational side of the employee lifecycle — from onboarding and offboarding to benefits, payroll, and systems access — ensuring every experience is thoughtful, seamless, and professional.
Manage HR and people processes end-to-end with care and accuracy, continuously improving how we do things.
Partner with the Chief of Staff to execute the people strategy — spotting opportunities to simplify, automate, and raise the standard across how we operate.
Create impact through culture
Help design and deliver initiatives that strengthen our culture and performance — from recognition programs to feedback cycles and development pathways that help our people grow.
Make the everyday effortless
Keep the office running like clockwork — from stocking and space management to lunches and supplier coordination — ensuring it’s a space that energises and enables great work.
Coordinate team socials, co-working weeks, and milestone celebrations — always finding simple, thoughtful ways to connect the team and strengthen belonging.
Manage ad hoc IT support - from troubleshooting and meeting setup to licence management and systems upkeep — ensuring our tools and tech run smoothly so the team can stay focused on what matters.
